CAN Chairman, Pilgrims Pray In The Holy Land For Victory Of Oborevwori, Others In Coming Elections *** Says Delta is Sheriffied The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman of Sapele local government area, Rev Dr Johnson Esiri, led other Pilgrims in the Holy Land, to pray for the victory of Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, Speaker of Delta State and the Governorship Candidate of the People's Democratic Party PDP in the coming election.Addressing members of the group in Jerusalem, Rev Esiri, who is the Chairman of Sheriff Holy Land Prayer Team, said that pilgrims prayed for Oborevwori to triumph and win the governorship election of Delta State overwhelmingly. He emphasized that he is confident that the MORE Agenda of Rt. Oborevwori will advance Delta. He also noted that prayers were said for all PDP Candidates in the forthcoming general elections in Delta State in all the Holy sites visited, including the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee, Mount Tabor (Mountain of Transfiguration), the Holy Sepulchre and others.Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Rev. Godspower Agbuduta, who is also the Spiritual head of the group, expressed gratitude to His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for sponsoring Deltans and Nigerians to the Holy Land for the Pilgrimage. The Delta State pilgrim contingent, batch B, visited the holy land from Friday 26th January to Saturday 4th February, 2023. He enjoined all Nigerians, particularly Deltans to come out en-masse to vote Atiku-Okowa to reset Nigeria and Sheriff-Onyeme to advance Delta State. The Coordinator of the Group, Mr Freeborn Eghagha, who is also Special Assistant to the Speaker of Delta State, advised all members of the group to ensure that they all collect their Permanent Voter's Cards PVCs. Mr Eghagha, said Oborevwori, has the required qualifications and the right set of experience to govern and advance Delta state. He said, Oborevwori will listen more, do more and achieve more if elected as governor. He went further to urge them to also mobilise their family members, friends and neighbours to vote all PDP candidates from the state to the federal. He said they should ignore political jobbers in the main opposition party, the APC, who brought negative change on Nigerians. He added that, the APC has failed in all ramifications, as can be presently seen everywhere in Nigeria in their mismanagement of the change of the Naira, thereby bringing untold hardship and sufferings on all Nigerians.
